I am happy to report that this week
has been much better than last week! Yay! Michael was confirmed on Sunday and
has been enjoying having the Holy Ghost as his constant companion. He has
called us several times this week (it's only Wednesday!!) and has told us about
different experiences he's having with reading and praying and such! He's so
great and I'm so happy for him!
Sister Wankier, Sister Bullock, Michael, and Sister Lawrence on Michael Baptismal day |
We are also teaching 2 brothers
named Joseph and Casper. They're great! Hopefully they'll have a baptism date
soon (like tomorrow or Friday)! Joseph is so sweet and sincere! Larry and Oscar
have been really sick recently, so we haven't been able to meet with them. Nemi
has disappeared off the face of the Earth, so... I don't know how he is. We met
this kid named Javier yesterday and he's so cool! He had a friend pass away
over the weekend so he's really searching for the purpose of life and such. The
cool part was that he said he was praying for comfort and peace right before we
started talking to him! Hopefully we'll get to meet with him soon! The work is
progressing here in the White Oak area!
I don't know if you've been watching
the weather, but it's crazy out here. We went from 50's to 20's to teens with
snow to 70's. What happened?? Like literally. Monday we had snow on the ground.
Tuesday we get dressed for cold weather and we're dying of heat while walking
around! It's the strangest January I've ever had! But, I like it :)

Changes are talking place in the Visitors Center!
New schedules, new rules, new directors. It's great! So far the changes aren't
too rough, so I'm happy. We haven't seen any of the 19 year old Sisters yet,
but rumor has it that they're coming next transfer :) But we'll see. Rumors are
just rumors!

Anyway, that's all I have to report
for now! I miss you and love you all! Please be safe, warm, happy and healthy!
If you need a boost, I would suggest Alma 33:23!
Alma 33:23:
23 And now, my brethren, I desire that ye shall aplant this word in your hearts, and as it beginneth to swell even so nourish it by your faith. And behold, it will become a tree, bspringing up in you unto ceverlasting life. And then may God grant unto you that your dburdens may be light, through the joy of his Son. And even all this can ye do if ye ewill. Amen.
Have joy in your life
because of our Savior! I love you all and miss you terribly!
Love, Sister Bullock
