THE LAST LETTER!!!

February 17, 2014

Hi everyone!!
This is it! How did this happen?? ITS THE LAST LETTER! This week has
been very eventful week :) how fitting, eh?

Departing temple: my final temple trip as a missionary was amazing! So
insightful and I learned more than I have before! It was weird though,
all the missionaries kept coming up to me with see sad eyes and
saying, "thank you for serving, Sister Bullock..." It was nice, but
inside I was like, "I'm not leaving yet!!" But it was still a
wonderful experience :) I love the temple!

Departing dinner: This was probably the most fun night this week! It
was so great! Being together with my fellow missionaries, having fun,
and reflecting on our missions. President Cooke also gave us service
coins! I'll show you or put pictures of it up when I get home :) it's
pretty much the coolest thing ever. I love the Cookes so much. They
have truly blessed and enriched my mission, as well as my life. They
are truly family to me.

Cathedral: Sister Cooke kind of kidnapped the four sisters going home
one morning and took us to the National Cathedral! It was really fun!
We explored everything and took lots of pictures :) it was fun to just
spend time with her and relax and just... Spend time with my sisters.
:)

Wedding: the Elders in our ward had a wedding! Their investigators
decided to get married so they could be baptized. They're so cute and
so in love! They just glowed! It was really fun! So both of my mission
"dreams" have been fulfilled: I painted a part of the house for
someone and I attended a wedding! Cool!

Snow day: we had another snow day this week... We just about went crazy.
Transfers: the moment you've all been waiting for!! Sister Holland
is... Staying! Sister Carcamo is... Leaving (but staying in the
English program)! And I'm leaving. Shocker, right? Haha. This will be
Sister Hollands 4th transfer in is area.

Well, my dear loves, this is it. This is the end of my calling as a
full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints in the WDCN mission. Serving a mission has been the best
decision of my life, and I wouldn't change anything about it. I have
come to know my Savior and my Father in Heaven more personally. I know
their love for me in eternal and unconditional. Even better, I know
they have that same love for all of us. I know even more now than I
did before that Christ is indeed my Savior. That He suffered every
pain, every weakness and every sin for me. Because He loves me. And
because He loves you. It's incredible. I know that the Book of Mormon
is true, and that it contains the words of Christ, as does the Bible.
I know that we have the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ on the
earth today. I know it so strongly now. I cannot deny it, nor do I
even want to try. I love this gospel, and I love The Lord. I look
forward to seeing what He has in store for me next :)
See you in 2!
Love, Sister Bullock
